First, I’m so bummed I wasn’t able to attend book club last night. Something unexpectedly popped up…I would have shared THE GOD OF THE WOODS. It was EXCELLENT! And, I wanted to also share the other book I just finished, YOGA LIFE by Brett Larkin. It was excellent too and I’m ready to dive in. I don’t know if you are familiar with her, but I’m anxious to start watching/doing the videos the accompany the book. Next up is YEAR OF YOGA by Kassandra Reinhardt. Several years ago I purchased the stretching videos from Yoga Body with Lucas and forgot all about them. You’ve inspired me to resurrect them! I do remember they were quite challenging! Also, about your gardening desires, check out Gardyn.com. We purchased one in December and it is in full bloom! I’ll email some pics to you so you can see. My husband maintains it, but it seems simple and we are enjoying our veggies with dinner each night! As always, thanks for inspiring! 🧘🏻♀️ 📚 🥗 📝
Oh, we need to talk about YOGA LIFE! I love Brett and the work she shares. YEAR OF YOGA is a new one for me, but it has my name all over it. =) Thank you for the website! I am heading there now and excited to get started. This may be the first garden I actually grow!
Yes, we do! I truly feel that she makes yoga accessible to me by discussing how to fit yoga into my already busy fitness lifestyle and my very unflexible body.
The Book Store Sisters is a great story! You’ll love it! My neighbor has done the bucket gardening. I’m doing pots of flowers. I have a beautiful book called Pots Throughout the Year.
I'm so glad Lucas' back program is working for you! I own it as well but tend to focus on the hip program for now. "Failure is fertilizer." Wow, that is a phrase I have been pondering all week! It's brilliant! And... the Dirty Dancing wedding party, yes, I watched it on loop, too!
I'm ready to but the hip program next. Now that my back is getting there, I'm realizing my hips may be at the root of all evil after all. =) Talk soon!
As suggested by Amy Lynn, I really think we need to do a reading retreat day on Zoom! Stopping to share what we are reading, yoga, and meditation sounds like a wonderful day!

We missed you! God of the Woods is towards the top of my TBR pile. I think your suggestion just moved it up to read in April.
It was a page turner for me right up until the end!

Heading online to find the book! Thanks, Amy!
